Notice the cheeky conversation playing off of Freddie Mercury and Queen song titles…
I have an idea on a module I have missed several time building Divi sites, a Divi event module. Divi has all the components to build a great event page with blurbs, maps, images, audio and video modules and so on. But there is no way to display these in a “event-ful” way, showing the upcoming events in the right way.
If you use the blog page, regular page or project page it shows the date it was created, not the date the event is on. Ideally I`m looking for a way to use the project pages for this, and using a portfolio/filterable portfolio to display the event list. Having this option could save us from having to turn to a event plugin (most of them are bloated). What do you think, could this be something Divi-Den could build?
I’m guessing Freddie needs to go on tour pretty soon?

All nice the new module but I think you forget to add registration just viewing an event info and not being able to register for it lacks functionality .
